My mini film for the Toni & Guy Blogged and Bound is finally here!

...
TONI&GUY Blogged and Bound partnered with 20 of Australia's most influential fashion bloggers to explore how hair meets wardrobe.  The project includes a 100-page book profiling each of the bloggers. Each blogger also stars in their very own short film in which they discuss their style inspiration and the role that hair plays in their overall look.
....

I've sat here awhile not knowing what to write or tell you about this project. It has been one of the funnest projects to work on, with the best team of people and is easily up there with my three favourite things I've ever done through blogging (the others being my Element collections and being in Frankie Magazine). It always amazes me what blogging can bring and expose you to. I feel like I get to live in two parallel worlds.  I'm so so happy with how its all come together, I must admit I was very nervous at first to hear myself on film! First time I watched it on mute.

You can follow the films on the harimeetwardrobe youtube feedfacebook or read the blogger profiles here.

~ My sisters amazing time-lapse video she ended her presentation with. ~

A few weekends ago I went to Sydney with my sister and brother to the Semi Permanent Conference as my sister was an invited speaker!!   It is such an honour to be invited to speak at this conference and to be seen up there among world class artists, designers and photographers. I can remember Bec first submitting work to the Semi-P book when she was still a graphic design student and I don't think she ever imagined she would one day be the up on stage presenting.

Some of the other amazing speakers included Roman Coppola (brother of Sofia Coppola),  Benja Harney a paper engineer, who you would recognise from doing the recent set of MBFWA Romance Was Born popup!!!  And Derek Henderson whos photography is in basically every fashion magazine you open.  Just after the conference I bought Harpers Bazaar flicked it open and saw Derek's work staring out at me.

Also Bec Parsons who is a regular photographer for Russh, Oyster, Sportsgirl to name a few... and has her own amazing Fashion photography book called Love Want (more about that in another post).

Amazing new work from my photographer Ali Mitton.  Anyone from Gold Coast will probably recognise this building! I've wanted to stop there so many times and take a photo, love all the old retro hotel signs on the coast.

Ali also shot the cover for the latest Pony Anarchy magazine Issue #5....the sequins looks so pretty capturing the light.
