the last working day of the year

Yay! Today is the last working day of the year for me. I'm taking a blog break for the Christmas and New Year period, so I can catch up on some much needed family time and relaxing (though I might not get too much of the second done).

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my bloggy friends, thanks for filling my days with smiles, inspiration and pretty things!

Whilst hunting for a magazine today I stoped by the mag nation website to look for their contact number and to my surprise they have a fresh new website. You must check it out !! And I thought my favourite store couldn't get any better, now I can browse, shop online and be entertained all at the same time.

Market Tomorrow

Im off to the Friends of The Earth market in Collingwood tomorrow to do some handmade Christmas shopping. Sew Your Own and Meet Me at Mikes will be having a store along with many others.

Halligan Norris : Love at first sight

This necklace is adorable, it features a tiny elephant in a cage hanging from a long sterling silver necklace. The necklace is all handcrafted from sterling silver by designer Halligan Norris. This is the type of necklace dreams are made of.

Its that time of year when you look back and reflect on what you have done, mistakes you've made, the good things and everything in between. This year has been alot about finding my inner creativity again. Ive been meaning to blog about the VRAW website for awhile, so here I go...before I forget.


You can find some great wallpapers on the website that are one offs from Aussie artists designed specially for VRAW. You can find Kelly Smith, Bec Winnel and Ali j on there to name a few.

Also check out the gallery section of VRAW, its a good place to find some new Australian art and creative talent. Pictured is a feature on Renee Ann.

Also I'm very excited to see Kelly in this months YEN mag, I'm going to get myself two copies...one where I can cut out the images, the other to keep untouched...hehe. I never chop my Frankie and YEN mags !

In other news, Ive been busy figuring out Christmas and whats happening and booking my first proper holiday in two years. I'm going to Thailand in March next year, Yah !!! It's going to be great because my friend Jagdeep is there training for the month of march and I will be meeting up with her. Fun times !!!! I'll be sure to blog and put photos up whilst I'm there (well thats if I find time..hehe). Well it's still months away, but I hope the time goes quick, cause I'm so so so wanting a holiday.
