I love watching it however...I hate seeing such sad stories being told. Why can't there be a news channel where all they broadcast are happy stories like 'A child in Burkino Faso just decided not to step on this rare beetle' or something like that.

I'm happy to hear you're reconsidering! It doesn't seem like a particularly good time to travel to India. On the bright side, there are so many wonderful places to travel, I'm sure you'll find an equally magical place to wander. Good luck and keep us posted!
agree with everyone else, it's wise to rethink about your plan. there are heaps other beautiful places, and india isn't going anywhere, surely you can visit there at some other time when situation gets better. so jealous you're going to travel!
thanks for the advice on the header. i will try to figure it out... this computer stuff is so confusing! as for cambodia and india, i understand your hesitation, but india is large and there isn't violence everywhere... cambodia is small, not nearly as much to see... but be safe first and foremost!

Just discovered your fun blog... Cambodia is amazing, if you decide to go, I would highly recommend it.
I think maybe India needs nice people to visit it more than ever. It will always be a bit of a dangerous place, and tensions with Pakistan are nothing new. And there is a lot of India to see outside of Bombay.
