Gorgeous lampshades and tea sets via all the mountains... I too have a miss matched collection of vintage plates and cups. I love the detail in each design.
I have a lot of mismatched china, but unfortunately it's all packed away in boxes waiting for me to find somewhere more permanent to live! The lampshade is stunning..
i'm glad that you like it, thank you! :) i think that your miss matched collection must be really great. vintage things always seem to be lovelier than the rest :D heh
that lampshade really makes me happy, i just love it! i wonder if i could make one like that...my mom has this giant doily collection just waiting for a project!
i have the same style of collecting tea cups and saucers, i literally pick them by color or mood in the morning for my coffee. the more mix-matched the better i say! :)
i love the mis match of tea cups and plates:) i also like the detail in each. but i think i am the only one here thats going to say i find the lamp shade so ugly. it looks terrible, almost scary.
@Kelly ~ you should see all the doilies my mum has in her house. haha, they actually become annoying to straighten up all the time!! yep I saw you tagged me. but I think ive done that one.
@jags ~ lol, did your mother tell you if you dont have something nice to say then dont say it at all?! lol, only you could get away with that on my blog :P
Ahhh such beauty! I have a good collection of mismatched tea cups, saucers and tea pots too, prettying up my kitchen.
As for my secret.... I don't know... too much time on the internet?? hahaha. and bookmarking everything amazing I stumble on. but your blog will always be my fave :)
that lampshade - give it to me!! Its when you see things like this that you realise just how great it would be to raid your nanas house. When shes not looking of course :)
