My latest internet purchase, these postcards by Australian illustrator Courtney Brims, only $5 a set, yay! I got both. I first came across Courtney's work a while back in the Curvy Book. My favourites of her work would have to be the faces series or the deer illustration.

    I love Courtney's work too. I adore the deer plus all her beautiful girls that reference fairytales.
    My last internet purchase was some Catherine Campbell prints. I'm going to get them mounted and framed. Gorgeous.

    Unfortunately i haven't bought anything in ages. I'm saving all my pennies for my Africa trip/ i just quit my job so better store up some money for when my notice period ends. Darn!

    My last internet purchase (other than art supplies which are just constant...) was a Catherine Campbell print too. I love it!

  20. ooohhh lovely, i think i might purchase myself some of these postcards too.. I dont know who the quote is from.. I googled the first line & every result I got says the author is anonymous or unknown.. its always that way isn't it *sigh* anyway I don't remember where I found it exactly, somewhere along my travels for inspiration i guess

    The best ever. I bought the "snow" piece when the exhibition was on at Monster Children in Sydney. Such a beautiful illustrator! Sort of reminds me of your sister's work too.. I love it all!
