Creative Space: Urban Homes of Artists and Innovators
10:17For 18 months writer and editor Francesca Gavin travelled the world asking creative people for the chance to peek inside their homes. The findings are documented in the book Creative Space: Urban Homes of Artists and Innovators, featuring 30 homes including that of a favourite of mine, French graffiti artist Fafi. I'm feeling all inspired to go home and decorate!

Nice post. These photographs are like looking into the heart of something--the chaotic clutter of picture four, the simple and bare necessities of picture two--tell us something about the people behind them. Funny how it's something we'd [mostly] overlook if we walked into their homes, but seeing them as pictures, alongside other rooms, all the differences and details are so noticeable.
ReplyDeleteFun post - how exciting it must have been to peer into the lives of creative souls!

ReplyDeleteI saw the other side of eternity through my accident in ’85: you alone decide where thy destiny lies, not God, not mortals nor circumstances; this Finite Existence is just a proving ground to achieve Heavenly sainthood. Why leave your ETERNAL destiny up to chance in this FINITE existence? Trust Jesus, not yourself. God bless you!
