How to Post Large Images in Blogger
20:34Photographer: Carl Kleiner / FC UNITED production / Fashion Emma Redeskog
A few people have asked me how to get the images in your post lager then the blogger restriction of 400px. Here is the tutorial that I used to do it on my blog, How to post large images in blogger. The tutorial says s400 or s800 but there is also s576 and s1600. I use s576 for mine (you'll get what I mean once you read the link).
I'm going away for work and a few days holiday, first to Canberra then the Gold Coast. I've organised posts for that time so you'll have plenty to come look at. Also I'll check comments/twitter/email when I get a chance or near a computer. I hope its nice and sunny once I get to the Gold Coast, I miss the sunshine!!!
enjoy the rest of the week, I'll come visit all your blogs once I'm back.

Oh if you are going to Canberra and have time the Aus museum has an exibit on 'vanity fair' covers over the years. I'm actually planning a treck to see it and then to the snow. Hope you have fun on your break!
ReplyDeleteThanx for the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures
Have nice holiday :)
I do it a slightly easier way that works some of the time, I host my images on flickr and upload using the picture url rather then uploading images straight from my computer. to get the url you right click the mouse on the image, scroll down to 'properties', click on that, then highlight and copy (ctrl c) the url address. You then paste (ctrl v) that address when uploading the image to your blog.
ReplyDeleteAs long as the original image is nice and big, it will then publish the same size on your blog.
You can use this with images on websites that you want to use too.
Hope all this makes sense!

ReplyDeleteFor larger photos i just upload to photobucket and choose the enlarged size... its easier than messing around w/the html code.

I love bloggers who give advice on blogging! I ask so many bloggers about how they get a certain photo a certain way, and they never respond, almost as if they don't want to share their secret. So, THANKS! and love the photos!!!
