My efriend, Allison recently interviewed me for her blog, let me know what you think ! I spilled the beans on what my day job is....I bet you never would of guessed!!!
Allison also just launched an online boutique Aspiring Couture featuring the work of aspiring new designers. Like my latest crush Blushless, who create unique eco-friendly wedding dresses. I actually spent a fair chunk of today looking at wedding dresses, I feel all gooey inside now!! And no I'm not planning on getting married (well least not yet) just daydreaming. I actually get all teary at weddings, I cant help it !! do you?

I loved browsing through aspiring couture. the wedding dresses on their are so pretty. and you're not the only one that cries at wedding or gets all gooey inside just thinking of weddings.
Take care, dear

Your blog is lovely!
I adore Aspiring Couture!
xoxox,
CC
I don't get gushy in weddings at all. I'm the one that's always sat at the back staring at the ceiling and drifting into my own little world. :P
♥
very pretty
Hello! I just found your blog and I must say I'm impressed. I love all the photos! :)
I love weddings too (but purely for the dressing up aspect)! & swell interview!
A Statistician by day? I'm impressed, Ms. Lily. Statistics was, by far, the toughest course I've ever had to take in college -- tougher than Physics for Sci & Eng (E&M), tougher than Calculus 2.
You are a Renaissance Woman.
I love looking at wedding dresses too. And yes, I cry at weddings. I think I would cry if I stumbled across a stranger's wedding. There's just something about love that is so honest and pure don't you think?
I really like your blog. I think it is very beautiful and it makes me happy looking at all the beautiful images. I think you job as a Statistician is really cool too! Maths is not a nerd thing! People good with figures can be very creative! My dad is a statistician too and he's one of the most creative people I know!
I really like the dress on the right, so pretty!
The only thing I have to say is that your blog is a true inspiration! Very refreshing...
great interview! i never know your day job is actually as a statistician! have a lovely weekend x
Beautiful photos, beautiful blog. You have another follower. :D
Cute interview! And i obviously love weddings :P
How are you feeling about your news??? I am so happy for you, i've been thinking about it ever since you told me.
Hi Lily, I just wanted to start off by saying that you are a babe, all the way from NSW :D I love your blog, it expresses a young talented and very smart women with big dreams, and may all your dreams come true.
Your interview rocked. Good work and I will check back often. Keep it up.
ooh just found out your job, i'm a researcher too! by a qualitative researcher so no numbers for me :D
vow lovely pictures , indeed very creative
Not so surprised re day time job. I think society has a habbit of trying to give people handles they can use - maths girl + artistic = not possible. Its so simplistic, but I guess we're all guilty of it. And Ive always felt there is a beauty in science and math too, if you have the capacity to see it. How wonderful that you have the outlet for all this creativity here, long may it last. :)
I am also not very shocked to learn about your daytime job. I always people actually have two sides, just like a balance, with two extreme ends, and this explains why you keep your blog so beautifully :)
Best wishes on the future road to your online magazines!
xx

multi-talented girl. great article!
xo

oooh, I want that second dress!
Beautiful dresses. I would be so afraid to get married cause I would feel like I couldn't settle for the dress!
By the way I used to be so narrow minded but my boyfriend P has opened my mind. Math and science are very creative occupations, otherwise how would those formulas come to be? He studied drama, art, and then physics and maths. He still can't choose. Unfortunately I failed accounting in year 12.
Woo - great interview! Good to be back in the land of the internet and reading your blog again.
