I posted this last bedroom image once before after seeing it on weheartit and loving it! And today I came across the source, its from the home of illustrator Kat Heyes. And the rest of her home does not disappoint it's every bit as beautiful and inspiring. (view more here)
Thank you so much for the nice comments about getting Blog of Note! A few of you asked about my layout, I talked about it over in this post. I think I'll do some posts soon about blogging, layouts and things like how to make your images big, etc.. Once I get a little time (I'm always wanting more time!! wouldn't it be nice to be a full time blogger and blog around the world, now that's my dream job!)
Now back to some real work....

Haha...yes, a full time blogger. Can't all my Gala Darling's though can we? This is a gorgeous home!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see things like this about artists and illustrators it's that little extra motivation and validation. It would be lovely to live off my art, pack in all those casual jobs, and settle into a cute little apartment all of my own.
Although, if I had a bed like that I'm not sure I'd ever get out of it!
hey i love your blog!!!! please check mine out

ReplyDeleteGreat post. I love the layout and simplicity. I am a beginner and can only aspire to your style. These photo's prove that style doesn't have to mean lots of $$$$$ only a great imagination.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that's very creative. I think creative is living alone in space, hunting rabid raccoons like myself.
ReplyDeleteWow, really cool. Love the site

Love Polly and Polly
What a gorgeous space! She's managed to combine minimalism with homely, little knick-knack touches. I'd love for my house to look like this. Wood floors, white sheets + sunshine = total win.

ReplyDeleteThere's this strangely peaceful look to your layout, really enjoying it. Needless to say it's a nice distraction from the garbage strike occurring outside the window of my favorite Toronto cafe.
A well needed distraction indeed!

ReplyDeleteI love that top picture - the boyfriend has loads of records and I've always pictured finding a more unique and interesting way to store them other than just lined up on the book shelf (though that's a total step up from the dusty crates he was storing them in before I intervened!)
ReplyDeleteI like the third picture, it simple but nice.
