I've only just come across the work of photographer Lauren Dukoff (via Stompface) but I must say it was love at first sight!! This may or may not have been due to the fact she photographed my girl crush Bat For Lashes. Lauren is launching her book FAMILY, next week at Space 15 Twenty in LA. The book is featuring portraits and candid images of Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, Entrance, Bat for Lashes, Cibelle, Vetiver, Ramblin Jack Elliott, Little Joy, and many more. So go along if your lucky enough to be in LA !!

I am in love with the second photo. Her facial expression reminds me of a feature seen in many horror movies, yet the background is so quaint and almost goth-prep... what can I say, I am captivated by that photo.
