Shes doing the blog rounds this week, as her debut album comes out. But I couldn't resist also posting her new song here as I find her so adorable. Shes my favourtie idol and for me the best thing to have come out of the show!

Plus I have a soft spot for her cause shes from the same small town as me!

PS. You may know her through the Surf Advertisement that included her song Neopolitan Dreams.

  6. Never heard anything quite like that before. I must say at first i didn't like it...then as i kept listening it grew on me. I love it ♥ Her voice & song rythm are very unique. This is what we need. Not copy-cats!!! Thank for sharing.

  8. Love her.She was on an advert for washing powder here in the UK and I franticly Googled until I found out who the song was by. She is so beautiful too.

  20. I wasn't a fan at first but this song keeps growing on me too. But those are the songs that I end up liking the most! I never even knew she was off Idol. Had only heard the song on Triple J.


    Ha, my parents did actually meet in a coin laundry. Is that lame? This song makes it sound so much more romantic!

  29. Aww... This is so beautiful! I have never heard of her before, but I'm always on the lookout for new singers that I might like. I'm going to check out the reat of her music. Thanks for the tip!

  38. Ok, that film clip just made me a fan! She is so cute and quirky and fairly / elf like, made me smile and giggle in places! I love she steals his button and I love the overall feel of her being in her own little world :)

    I do like her music,certain of her songs are quite good (but not THAT good) .But I don't like her. Since the very first seconds of the clip I don't know why but I thought "I'm SURE she's the winner of American Idol or some other stupid program". Then I searched informations about her,and oh surprise, she finished eighth in the 2006 season of Australian Idol. I don't know why but she looks SO fake... All her style,her "universe" looks fake,and made out by her label .I don't know who she was before Australian Idol,but I'm not sure she was that cute childish doll we can see here...

  40. @Sophie Takes Picture ~ her label has definitely played up the cute doll like angle. but from what I remember of her on idol, she seemed a bit like that anyways and she definitely didn't fit that typical idol mold we see. Like I said she the only singer ive ever liked from idol, but that also has alot to do with her being from my home town. So im biased!! :-P

  43. Oh my goodness. This song has just been added to the soundtrack of my summer and I'm now seeking out washing machine real estate.

    @Roarclothing ~ yay glad I could be of assistance. the song on the advert had such a catchy tune, you should watch the video clip for it, was so sweet. a fairytale type of theme.
