I'm not sure if this is a new thing, or if its been around for awhile, but I'm noticing a lot of labels and fashion mags doing short films. Just in the last week I've watched Lula Magazine (featured below), Dace Spring/Summer 09, Samantha Pleet & now the latest ones Ive been drooling over is Toast Autumn 09. So heres to the short film, may you be around for many more season to come!
What short films have you watched lately?

Wow, that's such a coincidence that you have mentioned fashion films. My fashion photography just discussed this yesterday, how most photographers are expected to shoot film now, too. I think they're lovely though, and help connect the audience.

ReplyDeleteOh beautiful short movie.

It is an interesting video yes. There is something very seductive, etheral ritualistic about it. It feels as if they are drawing from the ancient Greeks with the wreaths on their heads and the siren quality the women in this video have(sedutive yet dangerous dark and creepy)also the music is adds to dark creepy feeling.
ReplyDeleteYes !! How amazing !! We posted the Spell short film with Topshop here: http://fashionableearth.org/blog/2009/10/20/spell/
