How adorable is the new Diana Mini Lomo Camera? I'm also super excited about it using standard 35mm film. I have two lomo cameras and currently neither of them gets used. why? because its so hard to find the required 120 film and then the cost of that film and developing it.
The new Diana Mini has the option of shooting with the standard retro square or at half frame, which means 72 shots on the one film!

How cute!?
mmmm. That is so amazing. I recently went down to our local salvation army and goodwill stores and bought over 30 polaroids, holgas, and dianas. A lot of them had film too. The funny thing is, is that they were only like a dollar a piece. Some people just do not know the worth of things...
@Louis Duke ~ oh wow, what polaroid cameras did you find...Any SLR versions? In Melbourne most people know all about these cameras and your lucky to find them in a secondhand store.
Best. News. Ever.
Seriously. This has definitely made my day. Always wanted to get a Diana but the 120 film always put me off it a bit. And the mini looks so adorable!
xx
I want it! Love my Holga, but the convenience of this would allow me to shoot more. Plus, it's adorable!
It looks so sweet! I want one. ;)
it's on my christmas list!

O>M>G... I WANT ONE !!!!!!!!!
eee, squealing with delight! I so want this camera!!
just added to my list
yes please. Have you seen the fish eye lomo cameras? Pretty cool.
@Jono ~ I was just looking at them online here... https://www.fat4.com/ssl/#/Cameras__Accessories/Lomography/Lomolitos-6-Mixed/
they take 35mm film too :-) but I think I like Diana more.
oh cute! I love my Diana, and have become the crazy lady with the wacky film rolls at my local development house - they process the 120 format film the pros use, and then me! Too funny.
This mini is so sweet, and I just had a look on the website - totally loving the Snowcat edition Diana.
Aahh! I want one so badly. Don't tempt me so.
I hope this doesn't come off as pretentious, but more helpful- I've been shooting with Diana for almost 5 years, and each year, Lomography raises the price. For ten dollars more, you can get the whole Diana kit, and some of the kits (depending on which one you choose) has the 35mm back attachment. You can even switch it out for the Instant Back! :)
Just a thought! Great idea, but for a regular shooter, this is more gimmicky.
@Diana ~ ive thought about getting one of those 35mm backs for my Diana instead of this mini diana, are they good?
Personally, I think so. The reason I think it's better is because people forget it's still a toy camera, which means it's cheap plastic. The bigger one is stronger and will last longer. I totally agree with you, developing 120 film is a bear, but the 35mm back is much easier! I hope that helps! :)
It does look awfully cute :)
Super!! Thanks for sharing!

oh so cute!!
that is super exciting. i always hoped a day would come when they made one 35mm. i dont like struggling to find film. its sad enough not being able to get polaroid film. :)
peace & love!
cant wait to get it!
I`m just waiting till my diana+ photos were ready! I can`t wait!
i want one! having said that i have a coloursplash + the film is ready to get developed for the last 4 months or so. still...
I've been SO tempted to get one. I can't wait to see your photos.
I just discovered that Urban Outfitters in the US sells these and REALLY want one and remembered this post you did on the diana mini. do you think the fish eye lomo is better?
I just bought one of these and I can't wait to use it. Seeing your photos from India just makes me want to play even more. Did you prefer square or half frame images? Was it hard to get them developped?
@Clare ~ I havent tried out half square yet. I used full square. Very easy to get the films developed!! The best thing to do though is get the film developed and then scanned straight to disc/cd.
It is so cute!! I bought one today!! I cannot wait to use it! Oh the joy of taking photos!! x Greta www.gretaelizabethblog.blogspot.com
