ReplyDeleteI want to go to a tea party in a forest too! I remember playing a fairy at a cute festival in the Dandenongs about a decade ago...but cannot recall what it was called! It was nowhere near this cool though...

Looks lovely. I live in London and have never heard of this festival! Perhaps I will hunt it down next year. And I'm afraid to say that most festivals here are like the ones you described in Australia :(

this is in dorset, a wee bit out of london (in the countryside) and is a very new festival. some areas of glastonbury are like this too. xxxx

ReplyDeleteHey I went to this festival and it was every bit as good as it looks. The sun shone, the camping was organised and the loos were clean. Food was cheap and the lineup was fantastic too. Headlining were the Fleet Foxes but there were tons of other excellent groups. Watch out for the Leisure Society and the Low Anthem. Amazing. The festival isnt in London its in the middle of the countryside near Stonehenge.

ReplyDeleteif only we had festivals like this in australia instead of the sweaty, hot and drunken ones we are subjected to throughout summer. oh dear, i think i must be getting old :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks magical! My kind of festival. I'm pretty tired of Australian festivals too. Even Splendour has started to lose it's magic (only slightly though). Hopefully the festival scene gets a shake-up soon.

ReplyDeleteYes! Much better than festivals in America for sure, in America we crowd onto STREETS and have no where to move and get alcohol spilled on each other. That seems such a pleasant, romantic festival!

ReplyDeleteYes i went and can confirm it's as pretty if not more pretty than these photos! The forest becomes a magical lit up area at night and there's a piano and table tennis, a disco and everything all in the woods.

ReplyDeleteIt looks so lovely! I go to Greenman festival, in the middle of the countryside in Wales. Theres only a few 1000 people there and its so pretty. There's a big wicker man (like in the film) and at the end of the festival they set it on fire and set fireworks off. Small festivals are so much nicer than big ones xx

Ha ha, the majority of festivals I've been to here (UK) are packed with smelly sweaty drunks.. BUT there are some really little twee festivals as well and they are amazing!
