sorry to be such a nuisance, but (continuing from the india post) do the drivers speak english? and are there scam drivers? (sorry i'm just awfully curious)
@i ~ your not a nuisance! hah. Um the drivers do speak english, you can get by fine and understand them. The drivers deal with foreigners alot so they do know alot of english. Its more the day to day person on the street that wont know much english. With scammers its more a problem in Delhi. I didnt have any troubles anywhere else in India only when in Delhi. At airports and most main spots they have marked taxi ranks, so if you go to them and just ignore the others then your fine.
