Thanks guys for the quote :) I have to agree, February is going to be my new Janurary. Time to get motivated and think about what I want to do this year.... and the best bit, deciding what travel I want to do. Cambodia has been top of the list for awhile!

ReplyDeleteI agree, January disappeared way too quickly.
ReplyDeleteThese photographs are magical. I've been reading your blog for quite a while and I can't remember if I have ever left a comment so I decided I would today :) Your blog is lovely.

Time does fly by! I need to start planning and DOING!!
ReplyDeleteoh wow Cambodia would be amazing. So many of my good friends have been there and visited different orphanages and gotten really involved in the community. I hear the people are really welcoming and it's an amazing place! When would you go?
ReplyDeleteI really love January and I'm sad to see it go because that means it's one more step closer to warmer weather (and I don't like warm weather). But I hope February will be a good one for everyone!
ReplyDeletecan't believe it's february already!!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, every month is a new challenge to come! Be spiritful!
ReplyDeleteI love the ambiance of the photo...

ReplyDeleteoh. im so glad january is finally over... nice photo btw:D
ReplyDelete@Sobrina Tung ~ I went to Thailand a few years back, loved it. It has some of the most beautiful beaches ive ever seen!
ReplyDelete@Herecomesthesun ~ not sure when, later htis year ill plan a trip somewhere. But not sure if it will be Europe or Cambodia.
ooh i would love to go to cambodia! that would be such an amazing experience.

Cambodia sounds great! I was in Siam Rea, Battambang and Pnom Pehn about a year ago, and I loved the experience. I recommend visiting Angkor it was a really special experience! Also, unless you are flying in directly to Cambodia, I recommend going through Saigon and then travel over to PP since the road and border to Thailand (where you would go from Bangkok) is really dangerous and crazy.
ReplyDeleteFebruary is my new January too! Because of travelling I haven't really gotten started with school yet this semester...
I think people obsess too much about New Year's and the beginning of a year... The beginning is when you begin!

I think every month should be the new January. Hey - maybe THAT should be my resolution for the year!
ReplyDeleteLove the feel of these images :)
ReplyDeleteIn regards to Cambodia, I once spoke to a man who travelled the world and he said that hands down, Cambodia was his absolute favorite place to travel to. I haven't been, but would love to go someday. Good luck with your planning!
Have you heard of Somaly Mam?She is Cambodian and was sold into slavery at a young age.She managed to escape and started a safe haven for young girls
ReplyDeletewith the same experiences. She has written a book about hert travails which is shocking and at times hard to read.Heartrending but all too familiar plight of poor Cambodian females. Not to be a downer but her cause is one of my pet projects.
Sometimes reading about how much tougher others have had it tends to help put
things in perspective and pulls one out of a funk.It works for me.
ooh i love february so much! although, i may be a bit bias - my birthday is this month so of course i love it ;)
ReplyDeletebut valentine's day too! hearts and love and chocolates!
i hope your february really is your new january, and you do everything you wish to do this month.
hope you're well!
xx
