  6. I saw Cocorosie perform last Saturday and I haven't been able to stop thinking about them ever since... The eerie combination of witchcraft and butterflies, the way their music transports you through a parallel universe, ... I can't quite shake it off, neither do I want to! I've been feeling incredibly creative everytime I think about those girls floating across the stage.

  49. anyone ever considered how incredibly offensive the played-out trend of wearing headdresses is to native communties? i hoped the readers of this blog would be more culturally intelligent, but apparently not.

if you're open-minded enough to further examine this, please read on here:

  50. Nirrimi Hakanson definitly is inspiring me!

  51. natasha has been incorporating head dresses with her image and music for years, its part of HER.
natasha wears headresses and other "ceremonial" attire for performances, and her performances are looked upon as just that; ceremonies. there is something very spiritual about her music. why is she being criticized for this? she is not running around playing cowboys and indians. i don't understand why people would be OFFENDED by people admiring parts of their culture.
