Happy Weekend everyone. Are you watching the World Cup? I'm not sure if Ill be getting up at 4am to watch Australia play, although I imagine most of Australia will be considering it is also a long weekend and we have Monday off. Here's some things I've been enjoying.....
- This gorgeous online magazine FRYD (via burrs & berries)
- What are you reading this summer?
- The India Stories - loving these recounts of India, over on society story journal. Jessy is publishing one each week...currently at Chapter 3.
- Pretty braids, dresses and Samantha Harris backstage at Thurley Summer Launch.
- oh and I'm NuffNang blogger of the month if you'd like to read the interview...please excuse my typos...I was sleep deprived.

I'm watching the World Cup in passing (meaning I don't plan to wake up at 4AM just to watch a match :P) anyways, there's always replays the next day, at a decent hour right?
ReplyDeleteno world cup for me - too busy sewing up a storm for an upcoming arts fair. at least it's rainy so I'm not being lured outside by enticing summer weather! : )
ReplyDeleteI'm foolishly waking up at 4am popcorn in hand ready to cheer with friends. Tomorrow morning you will be better off for not being so foolish :P
ReplyDeletecan i eat those biscuits?
ReplyDeleteThat's my favorite picture from FYRD too! I even used it as my wallpaper.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful magazine!! Thanks for introducing it to us. I don't think I can't wake up that early for the World Cup, my boyfriend reckons he's going to do it. Somehow I highly doubt he'll be able to too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! that is really interesting!

ReplyDeleteI never watch football, but the world cup? yes! this year we're lucky with the schedule as they are playing at 'decent' hours for us. vamos argentina! :) hope you're having a nice long weekend!
ReplyDeleteoh those biscuit words are cuuuute! Liss, thanks SO much for your lovely comment you made my day!!! As far as achieving the 'dreamy photo look' in my photos, i left a tuitorial link for you in a comment a wee while ago... (it's hard to know whether to reply by comment on my page or yours) but you mustn't have seen it so here it is again:
ReplyDeleteI photoshopped the pics you were asking about, Manisay has a good tuitorial here you could follow:

You don't have to follow this strictly (i.e you can play around with the colours of your raster layers and use other adjustments), but this is a good start! Hope you have had a lovely weekend x
This online magazine is so, so wonderful!
