Winter Fairy Tale
15:06
I'm going to the snow on the weekend, I've only ever been to the snow twice in my life. One of those times I spent the day rolling down the mountain whilst trying to figure out skiing. So I'm a little anxious and excited at the same time. I've been looking through other peoples snow photos to get some inspiration and ideas. I'm hoping to take some nice pictures whilst I'm there. (I'm done with skiing, I'll leave that to the bf)
Any tips on taking pictures at the snow? Has anyone tried Lomo photography at the snow? I think the Diana Mini will be really hard to wind on wearing gloves, I have enough trouble winding it on without gloves!
hmm...

Maybe I haven't spent much time in snow, but I'm pretty sure it's customary to pretend to be in Narnia. Customary...or just fun :P

ReplyDeleteI've taken some photos in the snow using a Diana camera and can confirm that it's near impossible trying to wind on wearing gloves!
ReplyDeleteSuch soft and dreamy pics! in our area we are buried in snow from December until March so I can't even imagine not having it. It is magical though when it's calm outside and it falls down in big puffs. : )
ReplyDeleteI've got a giveaway today if you want to pop by...

I used to live in the north of sweden so I had to shoot in the snow quite often. The one thing to remember is to make correct exposure, the camera will want shorter shutter times because it's fooled by the white light from the snow.
ReplyDeleteThey inspire me.
ReplyDeleteive been following this blog for like a year now, and you still blow me away. the posts bring me so much inspiration
ReplyDeletethank you for that

ReplyDeleteI cannot waaaaait to go to the snow this year! Truelly, I SUCKED when I first started snowboarding, but once you have atleast two days after another at the snow, it actually becomes achievable! The first day, you fall on your face a million times....and the second day you actually learn something hah!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see you photos and hear about your experience :)

Wow, these do look great. I'm sure you will have fun, and might even ski. I don't remember how to photograph anything in snow as I was 8 when I last saw it. But make sure you keep your camera dry!
