liss, my lovely!
ReplyDeletei'm not really clued up about lomos that much, just the same as you, all the photos I seem to be bookmarking at the moment seem to have been taken with a lc-a, and i really want one! I know that they have that blurry-round-the-edges vignetting that all plastic lens cameras have, it takes 35mm film so film is cheaper to buy and process than other lomos, and the colours in the photos seem to be brighter than the sometimes washed out colours of dianas.
i was advised to also check out the olympus xa before buying an lc-a. They take similar photographs, and if you look on ebay they are a LOT cheaper (think: £100 at least for an lca, around £25 for an xa - sorry i dont know australian dollar conversions!)
look at http://microsites.lomography.com/lca+/ for the lc-a and http://www.diaxa.com/xastart.htm for xa
hope that helps
(i now want both!!)
xx
LOVELY.
