The more photos I see of Paris the more I desperately want to travel there! My lovely blog friend Tina recently spent a week in Paris staying in a furnished apartment (you can see Polaroids from her trip here and here ) Oh how Id love to do that! Id spend my days exploring the city and flea markets with a camera in hand. Or sitting in a cafe sipping coffee and eating yummy pastries.

Where do you really want to travel to?

I don't usually post runway shows (in fact I think this is the first time Ive posted one) I'm much more inclined to browse lookbooks . But whilst surfing my favourite blogs I came across this woodlands inspired collection from Topshop Unique (via Kisses and cross stitches). This is a runway show Id love to see!!

Would you like a cup of....

I love this cute drink themed notebook collection, with a pretty colour pallet to match. Thailand designer Tohid of Bold Ideas came up with the idea whilst sitting in a cafe at Siam Square. Id like the red tea and milk please or maybe some blueberry pineapple yougurt syrup. Yum! (found via Design*Sponge).

Happy Weekend x

Dearoly is a cute little online store where Oly sells her pictures and keepsakes from travels in Paris. So many gorgeous finds!! She also has a blog.

I've found a place with the carpet of my dreams.
Think vintage rose pattern, ooh the photo shoots I could do. It sure beats the brown carpet in my current place. Although I think it might clash with my floral couch...oh no, I think Im becoming my mother.

Hope your all having a nice Valentines weekend. I'm busy packing my house up for moving soon and finishing off the film in my Diana mini, thinking Ill try out some double exposures. Not much romance going on for me, although Ill be sure to treat myself to some fresh flowers.

I'm feeling stuck and overwhelmed. Every time I go to post something I see it on another blog/tumblr/image sharing site. Is posting something beautiful and words that inspire me really enough anymore?! Its what I love blogging but I'm getting bored and restless.....

These posts really got me thinking about this whole blogging thing!! Why did you start your blog? and On Blog Fame

My sister just showed me these illustrations she did for Tasmanian jewellery label That Vintage. Aren't they gorgeous? The one on the right is my new favourite illustration of Bec's.

That Vintage is turning 2 on Valentines Day and for the next week (untill Sunday 14th February) EVERYTHING in store gets shipped for FREE! Plus you'll also score an extra surprise gift with your order! yay!

On another note: I just came across this site Make & Meaning (via Meet Me At Mike's) and I'm enjoying reading it, lots of interesting articles about blogging, community and running your own meaningful handmade business. Perhaps you will like it too?!

Its beautiful weather in Melbourne this weekend, so I thought I'd head out and explore the city. Maybe take some photos too.

oh and here are few favourite posts from the week....

Happy Weekend!

Photos by Melbourne photographer and artist Luci Everett. I'm kind of madly in love with this style/type of photography. Id like to try some of my own photos like this.

A cute and fun lookbook for Keller Spring Summer 2010 (discovered via Lushlee). Keller is an independent line of clothes and shoes made by Brooklyn-based designer Kelly Clark.

Clark began the line in 2008 to create pieces that were subtle yet effective—an antidote to fashion excess. Hers are clothes to slip on, love, and wear unbothered. Spare without sparing character, they are made to function—then are left alone for the wearer to make her own.

Also Ive decided to file these lookbook type posts under fashion, some I wasnt sure and filing under photography. But Ive decided to keep photography to more flickr and undiscovered finds.

Hannah from Hello Mr Fox is my new op shopping and vintage finds idol. I couldn't stop looking through all her gorgeous finds she posts on her blog. I'm inspired to go op shopping in my lunch break today!

Jordan has also kindly offered Daydream Lily readers 14% Discount (Feb 14, geddit?) off any purchase from her store made between now and Valentines Day. Purchases of 2 or more prints will also get free shipping!

To claim the discount...
1. Put in codeword "daydream" when checking out

Good Luck!

You may have seen this on a few blogs already today, but I thought Id share too. Dace have commission indie fashion illustrator Dallas Shaw to create 5 different fashion illustrations based on looks from their Spring 2010 range. Anyone who orders from the Spring 2010 Range online will receive one of them as a print (while stocks last)

You can read more about it and view the Spring Collection on their website www.dace.com
