It is really sad to hear about what is going on with the floods. I hope the damage is not irreparable. Specially the psychological implications to those who are suffering them.
ReplyDeleteTruly magical, The virgin suicides has always been one of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the flooding, I can barely fathom that it is happening in Australia. Very strange.

ReplyDeleteWatching the news tonight made me so sad as you watch the cars, houses and people get trapped and rushed away by the floods! But there's always hope, hope and more hope! Thinking of everyone affected x
ReplyDelete@See Me Everywhere ~ it really is very sad, seeing people on their roofs waiting to be rescued. I am lucky in that it isn't looking like it will come to where I am but it is happening in my backyard so to speak
ReplyDeleteas i was scrolling through these i said to myself, "this reminds me of the virgin suicides". that movie has been popping up everywhere over the last few days!
ReplyDeleteIt is very inspiring film. Beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are safe where you are. It is absolutely awful, there were floods there last year when there were the big bush fires, and now its floods again with bush fires in WA... Stay safe.
