I was recently asked by Westfield if I wanted to take part in a blogger style challenge. As part of the challenge bloggers were asked to shop a complete summer trend for under $200.The choices were from Colour Blocking, Monochrome, Safari Prints, Stripes or 70's inspired Boho. I chose to shop for a boho look, inspired by the boho queen Isabel Lucas! I love Isabel's casual boho style, I wanted to see if I could achieve something similar but still me. I also really love all the crystal jewellery around right now, so boho was my obvious choice. It also suits the Queensland weather well!
Coral Sandals $49.95 - Novo
Crochet Tank $39.95 - City Beach
I met up with the Westfield Insider, Alyce for an afternoon of shopping. It was so much fun! Alyce took me through some of the key pieces for achieving a boho look, and I never would of thought to look in Tree Of Life! But Alyce showed me the treasures that can be found there!
I was doubtful I could achieve a whole outfit for under $200, sometimes I can spend that all on one piece... but I actually came in under budget. I looked at buying some bangles with the last of the money, but I had a bunch at home already from my trip to India, so styled the outfit with those.
credits: Thanks to Kelly for taking the pictures (much better than using the tripod). Also used Julia Trotti's photoshop curves.

You look so radiant. I love compiling outfits with a money limit, yours came out beautifully! Didn't know they had Westfield's across the ocean.

@Lightning Heart ~ me too!! I think I will be wearing them a lot, especially the agate one.
This is such a great look, goes to show you don't need to spend heaps of money to come up with something that looks stylish and on trend.
really love your dress i love it! :)

Great job! I love that you used a bold red - it makes it look more updated than some sort-of-recent boho trends.
I probably would have gone for colour blocking or monochrome. I really want a plain white minimalist dress... like someone from the future.
Very pretty :)
@Hannah Percyowl ~ yes! I thought the brighter colour also goes with the brights summer trend right now. Colour Blocking was my second choice...loving that look too, but not sure I can pull it off :P
love what you choose very you i love how Westfield is getting involved with bloggers so nice to see xx A Fox That Meows ♥
I love it! I love how the shirt looks over the dress!
I had no idea Tree Of Life holds so many treasures... honestly, I always skip it when I'm in a mall cause of the hippy dippy window displays... but... those amethyst rings are super well priced and total style blogger must haves!
You look really fabulous in these shots - job well done!

Lovely selection. I love the bright red!
Catherine @ The Spring ~ same! I never though to shop there before. Although there is still lots of over the top hippie type clothes, you can find some really nice cotton dresses for layering and their crystal jewellery is the best Ive seen for that price range!
You look amazing Liss! I can't wait to take blog pictures with you soon :) Did you apply any curves to these pictures? I love the colours!
@here comes the sun ~ I did, I used Julia Trotti's, hers are my favourite. I think this was Modern Things.
I love this --- such a beautiful, relaxed Spring/ Summer outfit! You did well Liss :) Cute rings too, I'll have to go into Tree of Life and have a poke around. Rach xx
i love the look, that red dress is so pretty, and the first and last pictures are so beautiful, there's nothing i don't like of this outfit :)
