Happy Monday.
So here it is, the puppies at the beach photos. Somehow I managed to take an entire roll of film just of my dogs at the beach!
My Mum came to visit recently and we took the dogs down to the beach near my house (thats my mum in the pictures). This beach is only 10 minutes walk from my house. I've never lived near a beach before. Where I grew up it was more rivers and lakes. So when I knew I would be moving to QLD I really wanted to be walking distance from the beach. I can't wait for summer to arrive and go swimming again! Georgie loves to swim, she will run in after me. Maxi wont though, he doesn't like the waves.
Sorry for the lack of posts this week, I have have been discovering the highly addictive world of pinterest. Are you on pinterest? Do you like it? What do you use it for? So far I've mainly been bookmarking recipes and dream home inspiration.
This summer we have gotten so much new womenswear for the shop....but the one I've been holding out to share with you all is Nadinoo!!
Jen and I have been putting together our dream list of designers to stock and Nadinoo was high on my list.
It was hard to pick which pieces to stock, the buying process is still very new to me. I hope you like the choices we made, my favourites would have to be Fleur’s Spinning teacup dress and Summer breeze skirt. So pretty!

I find peoples spaces just as inspiring as the art they create in them! So when I came across the
Where They Create website I spent ages looking through all the artists spaces. Where They Create started as a side project by interiors photographer Paul Barbera and is now being made into a book. In his travels around the world, Paul would look up local creatives and capture their work spaces. The top 32 are featured in the book accompanied by interviews with the artists. I've already added it to my wish list!

Gosh I am so ridiculously happy to come across this blog post in my facebook stream. It has made my day, no year! The Element Eden Inspired by Daydream Lily dress was worn by blogger Le Monde est à Nous to Eurock festival! Ahh I can't believe it.
It was one thing to see it in stores, but to see people wearing and enjoying it is just amazing!

Ahh so so amazing! I still remember sitting down with the Element Eden girls and picking out the exact lace we wanted to use.
Could Frankie Magazine be any more amazing! Now they are bringing out a twice yearly publication for the guys, Smith Journal. I've already decide to pre-order a copy for Glen!

Style Milk is now in its second season and I am absolutely loving being a boutique owner. It's never something I imagined I would do... but I am so happy the opportunity came up. I love previewing collections and picking out what to buy, then forgetting what you picked until it comes in to the store and you get reminded all over again. I love spending hours loading stock and seeing the store come to life. It's been a lot of hard work but very rewarding. It also makes it all worthwhile when we receive lovely emails from customers.
I'm so excited that we are getting four new womenswear designers in store this summer. The first being the gorgeous Australian label Lilya. The Lilya Calypso collection has such a carefree bohemian feel to it, perfect for summer days lounging in the sun! My favourite is the Valencia Strip Top how pretty are the frills?!

Im completely mesmerised by the work of Lukasz Wierzbowski. I posted some of his work over at Laura's blog this morning but just had to share it here too.
Im back from my mini road trip. I'm getting two rolls of film developed today, so should have some photos to share soon.
