We're Engaged!!!
Last week I hinted at some exciting news and why I've been away from the blog a bit lately and well this is why! I had been thinking about how and when to share the news with you all, and I did think I should do some special announcement post but really I am just so overwhelmed lately that I thought...I'll just come right out and tell you all. Plus I'm not much good with keeping surprises.
I'm so happy and excited to be engaged to the most amazing guy and my best friend (nawww). It's completely surreal to have thought of this moment since I was little and now it is here, it's happening! So I guess as the wedding planning comes along I'll be updating you now and then with wedding inspiration posts and the like. I hope you wont mind, but I figure I'll be looking at soo much wedding inspiration I might as well share some of it. And gosh is there a lot out there. My pinterest is already being filled (clearly I had already given myself away with the influx of wedding related pins :).
Oh and I guess you're all wondering about the ring, hehe, we picked it out together at an antique shop, white gold with a solitaire diamond... it's so gorgeous...hopefully I'll get a good picture of it to share here soon.

awww I get so teary over weddings too, Im always the won crying when the bride arrives. I actually had been avoiding pinning wedding pins, I was waiting till it happened so I could get all dreamy and inspired. but lots of people do pin them even though they're not there just yet. plus so many inspiring wedding ideas can apply to other decorating!!!

thank you :) There is such pretty rings at the antique shops, and I just wans't that into the design that were available at the jewellery. Antique felt more me. I've been so happy with my ring, so defs recommend shopping at the antique places
